EA Import problem

When I import an image in Edge Animate CC (latest update) and Mac OS, the import window sisapears as usual but the image is not imported. All edge Animate menu options are greyed out as if the programme is waithing for the import. The only solution is to force quit.

Anybody seen this problem and is there a solution?
