How Do i combine an image to custom scrollbar

I want to combine an image to scroll with my text i am using the custom scroller from zaxist's tutorial here:: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5425717#5425717

so i wonder if it is possible to combine an image to scroll with my text in EDGE CC like this example here::

please see the first example the site does not document if it is possble to do with edge but am sure it is possible i just dont know how to combine an image
