I know that different iterations of this question are floating around but I was wondering if there is way to disable the elasic scrolling that the iPad does without disabling the pinch zoom.
I want to use swipe left and swipe right to change the information on the screen. The iPad of course automatically scrolls the page and then bounces back. The swipe works but the whole interface is too wonky.
e.preventDefault(); gives me the swipe result I am looking for but disables pinch zoom. It is possible to have something in between? When I go on yahoo.com on the ipad, it doens't allow you to drag the screen to the left or right, only up and down. Any ideas would be appreciated.
