Good morning!
I am working on a "digital brochure" using Edge Animate. The "digital brochure" has about 10 screens with different info about a product. The screens can be accessed by swiping left or swiping right, or by clicking on a thumbnail at the bottom of the screen. This is meant to be viewed on an iPad.
I have done this project using the timeline. I have assigned swipeleft and swiperight actions to each screen. The problem is that the transition between screens when using swipeleft and swiperight is not smooth. The screen moves to within about 1/4 to 1/8 inch of where it should stop, pauses, and then snaps into place.

The problem is somewhat visible on a laptop/desktop but much more obvious on an iPad.
The timeline is set up with labels for each screen position (such as "Screen 1") and labels to begin the transitions (such as "Trans1to2" which marks the start of a transition from screen 1 to screen 2). So from screen 1, a swipeleft will take you to the "Trans1to2" label on the timeline where the transition begins. At the end of the transition, there is code to stop();
The transition itself is simple so I can't figure out why it pauses before it reaches the end of the transition in the timeline. This is the second "digital brochure" I've done. The first one was created several months ago using the same timeline method and I don't have this problem.
Does anyone have any insight into this? I can't figure out if I am mising some code somewhere that would make this smoother - I don't know javascript so I'm not sure where to look for the problem. I would really appreciate any help!!
