Custom hotspots for worldmap

I am pretty new at using Edge animate, and I am facing a problem I don't know how to fix.

I have a worldmap similair like this (http://designm.ag/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Dot-World-Vector-Map1-300 x197.jpg)

I want the countries to change color at mouseover, and onclick a pop-up screen.

My problem is; how can I create sort of hotspots to mark all the different countries?

I have used google and found this, http://www.edgedocks.com/edgecommons#anchor_edgecommons_17, but I dont understand..
