skipping mouseout

Hello,

I have a button that when you mouseover the symbol scales up, then you mouseout the symbol scales down, and when you click the symbol a page slides in. However, when you move the mouse after the icon has been clicked and the page slides in, the animation resets and the mouseout action plays to scale down the symbol. I'm simply wanting the mouseout action to be skipped when the symbol is clicked.
