I have a project that uses the Edge Commons adaptive layout script to target all iDevices. However, it just came to my attention that we need to target the 4 and the 4S as well. My problem is that the device width is the same as the 5. So I can't create a new layout based on the width because that "layoutXXX" symbol is already built for the 5. The only difference is the device height. The file displays just fine on the 4, but it's cut off about 40px short.
Does anyone know if there is a way to create an alternate layout based on the device height? Or a way to create a redundant layout that somehow recognizes that it's on the smaller screen?
I'll keep tinkering with it and see if I can figure something out. But any insight would be welcome.
