I wanna reuse one animation over and over but change the content for each one

I want to use the same animation on six rectangles. Each has different text within. I want to animate one rectangle then reuse it 5 times.. Should do the following:

• Draw my rectangle

• Create my animation

• Make the rectangle a symbol

• Duplicate it 5 times

• Paste my copy into each symbol

Will this allow me to retain the animation while adding different text to each one?
