How do I get an Edge composition to start automatically whenever a page loads, such as a splash animation?

I have published my animation and copied the code into the head and body portions of the page where I want the animation to display, but nothing happens. To see the animation in action, click the top link ("Click") in the URL following. To see the blank page where it does not run, click the second link. Thanks for your help.
