Why is this project crashing in iOS?

Hello adobe edge community,

I am experiencing an issue on a recent project that I was hoping someone could shed some light on - this project crashes during load in iOS Safari on iPhone 6 and 6+ sporadically, and consistently on iPad:

I tried several things, based on previous posts here on the forum. Failed attempts include:

- using the down-stage preloader

- not using the preloader

- using custom font (instead of typekit)

- using typekit

all trials have the same result, which is the iOS Safari browser returns an alert that reads "A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded." In Chrome browser for iOS, it immediately and unfortunately crashes the browser entirely.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to keep using this software - I have included a link to the project folder below:
