If I load edge and then switch tabs in my browser the animation stops playing it will play the animation when I click on the tab that is playing the Edge animation how can I stop this and make the animation play regardless if a person is on that tab or not?

When I switch to google.com the Edge project stops playing its animation and will play it only when I switch back to the Edge tab how would I stop this and make it play regardless of if a person changes tabs. . . this is a real issue when trying to sync a video with div's ....
