sym stop(milliseconds) composition

I have moving object in Edge Animate from "0" text to "1000" text. User can input number from 0 to 1000 and object must stop in this position, or this number passes from json.

Position matches timeline's milliseconds. Position 55 matches 55 milliseconds, position 734 matches 734 ms and so on.

I use

sym.stop(500);

in creationComplete, compositionReady events but it doesn't work. When page has loading I must see moving from 0 and stopping in 500. But I see my object in 500 position at once.

What don't I understand? Thanks!
