I know masking isn't yet possible in Edge (when will it?), but I wanna make this animation:
On the stage there is a piece of dirt and there is a piece of cloth that wipes that dirt away, revealing what is beneath it. So basically I would have a png of some dirt and a png of the cloth. When the cloth does its wipe animation the dirt would slowly we wiped away. In Flash I would use a mask of a shape over the dirt image. That masking shape would slowly grow over the dirt image, making it disappear. But in Edge I can't do masks. So what would be the best way to do that? I can't do the clipping tool cause that way I could only use rectangles. And I can't use some white shapes moving over the dirt image, cause that would hide the background image beneath it too.
Any tips?
