Where do I paste a snippet?

I found this link on how to make hotspots following the oulining of svg vector objects, rather than the bounding box:

In the link I´m given a snippet code. I don´t know what a snippet is, but I would like to try inserting the code into my Edge scence. My hope is that every SVG file that is in the scence, or later placed in the scence, will have hotsposts following the shape of the actual object and not the bounding box.

Sp,after having copied the code, where do I paste it?
