HowTo fill svg path with image

Hi,

I am following the Simon's Tutorial using edgeCommons.js to interact with svg, but instead of filling the path just rgb color I want to fill it with a png/jpg file.

As I search, it need to be a pattern but how to do it, I didn't understand.

Can someone help me?
