Manually removing a slide

Hi,

I've taken over a project that used an Edge Animate slideshow on the front page. There are 3 slides, and I need to remove the second one but I see that this is no easy feat. I've commented out what seems like the second slide in the html but it still displays. Any ideas what to do here? Is the animation stored in a separate file?
