It would be nice to have the option of removing videos from your project without the need to delete them from the project directory. I understand making sure there are no additional files in Edge that aren't necessary when publishing the project to the web. A feature the consolidates or cleans up the the project directory before publishing would help this, rather than the lack of functionality to remove assets from the library.

Animation issues
I have an element that has some animations on the timeline. I added an action to the timeline at 0 seconds that says sym.getSymbol("element").stop(); but the element's animation still plays. I don't want the animation to actually play until I've triggered it by clicking on another element. How do I fix this?

Audio problem on IPad/IPhone with last version of Edge
Hi,
I am developing a website with Adobe Edge. The site contains audio. There are no problems on different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Explorer) on the PC and on Android, but the audio does not work on iPad and iPhone. I then tried with a very simple application (a button with the click event that does play an mp3), but that does not work. My brother who has a previous version to the latest (generates file preload.js), the same simple application works on iPhone and iPad. Do you have any help from me.

how do I set up buttons that play an animation at different points in time? eg click here to view from 1 sec, click here to view from 2 sec?
Hi There,
I have a 3 second animation and 3 buttons, and I want the first button to play the 1st second of the animation, the second button to play the second second and the third to play the third second.
So I have set up 3 labels at the start of each second, and a sym.stop(); trigger at the end of each section, just before the next label.
Then I have made 3 buttons, each with layer actions sym.play("label1"), sym.play("label2") etc
This is all working smoothly when you click the first button to see the first section, then the second button to see the second section, and then the third, but when you play the third button, and then select the first button, the first animation plays ON TOP of the 3rd animation. Rather than jump the viewer to the first second, it plays the animation of the first second on top of the animation of the 3rd second.
What should I do differently?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

ich habe im neuesten edge animate auf dem Mac eine aufwändige Animation erstellt, die auf meinem Laptop auf Windows 7 korrekt angezeigt wird.
Beim Kunden jedoch fehlen einige Grafiken und die Funktionalität ist auch massiv gestört.
Woran kann das liegen?
Exportiert habe ich die Animation ohne die Laufzeiten auf Adobe CDN zu hosten.

How can I make a warp/wave animation of my logo, and drop it into muse?
I have made a Logo that has a wave like feature to it, it is round, and I made and animation of it warping, rotating, and moving around the screen with After Effects. Now I have realised that after effects was probably not the right program to make a transparent animation which I want to place over a full page slideshow in Muse. I cannot seem to find the right effects in Adobe Edge Animation to create the same effect.
Any suggestions as to which program I should be using?
Or is there a way to export After Effects into Edge, or directly to Muse? (It needs to be transparent and on a loop)

Change just the name of pasted graphic (feature request)
Every time when I paste a graphic into Edge Animate, the application swiftly suggests a name for the imported graphic. But the selection includes the file extension as well, which in most cases will need to remain the same. It would be easier (and safer) if the user could just start typing over the selected name part, without inadvertently forgetting or altering the extension, or needing to re-select just the name part. A small improvement for a better use of the application !
EDIT: I just noticed – in a daring mood – that if I just type anything without adding or leaving an extension, Edge Animate will suffix the proper extension anyway. Nevertheless, a more careful user like me is uncertain about the consequences and doesn't trust software as much...

How can I stop an embedded google map zoom out automatically when used with the CSS:display feature?
I'm trying to embed a google map into my edge animate page. Everything was fine until I toggled the CSS:display feature.
The idea behind my site is an interactive map which when zoomed into a location a google map would appear over the top showing the exact location here's a screenshot of how it appears:
Here's the code which is under the creationcomplete section of the symbol as well:

I have some trouble with the stage scrollbar
I use an image that is 100% width & height and it overlap the scrollbar
to resolve that I tryed to modify the z-index of the stage, but the stage overlap the image
So my question is there a way to modify only the stage scrollbar z-index ?

MP4 videos will play on mac and adroid tablets but a blank/black screen appears when trying to play on iphone/ipad?
I have recently created a digital ad using adobe edge. It has a few basic transitions such as zoom, fade ins etc. I have also added an mp4 video to the ad which opens and plays when clicked, however this does not work on an ipad or iphone... I have tested it on mac at it works perfectly in chrome and safair, I have also tested it on an android device and it works perfectly too. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why the iphone/ipad is unable to play this mp4 video and why a blank/black screen is all that appears and none of my play functions work. Cheers

Will someone at Adobe please address the issue with EA and Yosemite not working properly? It's in several threads that people are having serious problems with EA and it's compatibility with Yosemite. It would be nice to here from the staff that a problem is confirmed and that a fix is on it's way.

Preloader problem
When I publish my project to the web and also preview it in muse, the preloader shows, but the animation never loads. Is there something I am missing? Is there something wrong with my .oam file?

SharePoint and Edge
I have recently taken a position within the Department of Defense. My location uses older software (they just made the change to SharePoint 2010) and they want me to start suggesting big changes for their sites. My question is, how can Adobe Edge integrate into SharePoint if at all. Will it allow me to build custom web parts that can live within SharePoint? Can I create animation and then export it as Javascript?
I'm just trying to get as much accurate information as I can before I try to sell them on the Creative cloud option.

How to target self within creationComplete

I created a symbol and attached a creationComplete event and in that I created a function called init() and in init I'm trying to use jquery to set the opacity to 0 but having hard time targeting example I've tried

Control Adobe Edge with Keyboard - 508
Hey Everyone,
Needing to know if Edge can develop 508 compliant animation/interactions? I see it has an Accesibility panel somewhat similiar to Flash but can't seem to find any info on using the "Enter" key vs. "Clicking". I received Help from Adobe on a Chat...they said it was NOT capable but then I called a Help line and they said that 3.0 was. I have 3.0 and like I mentioned earlier I see the Accessability panel and I can label a button and I can Tab to it when Previewing but no control with the keyboard.
